Trinity Lutheran Preschool for 2010!
Let Us Ever Walk With Jesus

We will have our walk this year filled with friends (lots of us), songs and rhymes, crafts, playdough and paint, and a lot more.

Your student will need for school a book bag which should be standard size to fit in all of our projects to take home. Each child needs a folder (standard kind with 2 pockets) to take home weekly information send from the teacher and school. Please read the papers sent home in the folder each week. Please bring in a box of tissues, a box of bandaids and a squeeze bottle of hand soap (Preschool children must wash hands with soap according to liscensing rules).

You do not need to buy markers, glue, or paint aprons. I will have that all ready for us when school starts.

Your child will grow and change so much through our walk with Jesus at school this year. Just watch and see as they mature in their faith, awareness to their surroundings and start to develop friendships with others.

Your in Christ,
Mrs. Wheeler

Preschool 4’s Weekly Note for September 8th

September Themes: School       Safety Rules                    Letter:  Mm

Trinity Lutheran Preschool welcomes you!  May God bless our year.

Religion:  Our religion lesson for this week is found in Mark 10:13-16.  The disciples said that Jesus was not to be disturbed, but Jesus replied, "Let the children come to me!”  Jesus always has time for us, even when He was tired and overworked.  Do we make time for Jesus each day, even when our life is busy?

Song of the Week:  Jesus Loves Me, This I Know

Each week I will send home a copy of our weekly Jesus song.  Please save them and make a music book for your child.

Recess:  We will be playing together outside for the fall months of September\October.   We will learn to take turns, talk to friends, and enjoy the world God created around us.

Stories:  First Day of School, The Monster Under My Bed

AlphaLetter Time:  We meet Mr. Mm.  He is always hungry and munches on marshmallows, macaroni, and m&m’s.  He says mmmmmmm!

Activities:  We will glue macaroni to Mm’s and draw a monster.

Math:  We will be counting the days of a calendar every school day.

Language:  Your child will talk to me and tell me a monster story.

Wednesday/Friday Show and Tell Time:  Please have your child to bring one favorite thing that is special.  Keep it in the book bag until I say "Show and Tell”.

Wednesday friends:  Lindsey, Isabel, Riley, Kennedy, Jaiden, Clara, Ryan, Alex

Friday friends: Mariah, Claire, Kendra, Alberta, Mary, Ruthie, Landon, Hunter

In Christ’s Service,                   Mrs. Wheeler
